Experienced Opinion
With the smallest engine, and the most affordable price tag, the BMW three hundred sixteen is something of an entry-level model into the perennially excellent three Series. While this does make it a touch less powerful – with its 1.6 litre engine – it still offers a top speed of 126mph, a refined rail and the responsive, light steering that predominates any three Series drive. With fuel efficiency comes back inbetween sixty and 70mpg, it is economic, too – especially for a car of its size and power. While it might not suggest fairly as much adrenaline as the 320, or 330, the three hundred sixteen is still a three Series, and so it remains one of the best cars on the road.
