Here Are The Major Toronto Expressway Spring And Summer Closures for 2017
- Monday, April 17th, two thousand seventeen to Wednesday, January 31st, two thousand eighteen : Gardiner Expressway at off ramp York/Bay/Yonge is closed for construction.
- Monday, April 17th, two thousand seventeen to Wednesday, December 31st, two thousand seventeen : Gardiner Expressway lane reduction from Bathurst St. to York St.
- May fifteen to June 10th : The intersection of Dundas and Parliament streets in Toronto will be fully closed in all directions from Monday, May fifteen at five a.m. to Monday, June Five. Road confinement from June 6–10th.
- June 4th, two thousand seventeen : From two a.m. to two p.m. : Gardiner Expressway will be closed from the Humber Bridge to Carlaw Avenue for the Rail for Heart. The DVP from Highway four hundred one to the Gardiner will also be closed.
- July 23rd, two thousand seventeen : Gardiner Expressway : The eastbound lanes of Gardiner will be closed from two a.m. to noon for the Toronto Triathlon Festival. The northbound lanes of the DVP from the Gardiner to Eglinton Avenue, as well as all ramps, will also be closed.

So if there are traffic issues because of volume, weather, accidents, construction or other closures just turn your radio dial to six hundred eighty AM and you’ll get up to date traffic conditions.
The 680News website is also a good resource. There is an interactive where you can zoom into City Of Toronto live traffic cameras so you can check your route for trouble areas.
